Friday Fringe

shirt: old, almost exact here // skirt: j.o.a. suede fringe skirt (also in brown! shorter version here) // heels: Christian Louboutin Pigalle follies in black suede // purse: chelsea 28 leather clutch

This fringe suede skirt is so fun to wear. It looks really fun too when you walk. I decided to tuck in a more casual striped tshirt, but offset that with a pair of fancier heels and clutch to dress it up a bit. Could be perfect for a night out, or even church {the length makes it more appropriate} Hope y’all all have a great weekend!

Wedding Wednesday: My Favorite Rehearsal Dinner Finds

RD DRESS.001

One of the things that I have been so excited about during the wedding planning process is getting to shop for all the events, parties and dinners that will happen as a result of the engagement! The pinnacle of all events (other than the wedding of course) is the rehearsal dinner. Now, I must admit, that I think it’s much too early to pull the trigger on an any option now. BUT it hasn’t stopped me from looking constantly for dresses that would be perfect for any of the events. I love the idea of playing with colors – #1 & #6 are so perfect ‘something blue’ moments. Happy humpday – & here’s to another Wedding Wednesday!

How To: 3 Ways to Tie A Scarf

In the winter, I wear a scarf with pretty much everything. My most favorite style of scarf is the big ole blanket scarf – I’m really into the chunky, thick, oversized look. I always get questions from readers asking how I style them, so I wanted to show y’all 3 super easy ways I style my scarves! 1.001 2.001 3.0011. hold the scarf at both ends // 2. wrap around the head so that the middle of the scraf is draped in front // 3. pull the scarf down the chest so that the tails hang // 4. Voilá!

See here and here for real life example

Hold the scarf at one end and wrap around head // Tuck into the inside of scarf in front // Adjust for maximum fullness (I love this style the most right now because you can make the wrap around suuuper full! See here, here, here, here & here  for real life examples #toldyouitwasmyfav – Shown above in a medium fullness)

Take both ends of the scarf in one hand, while holding on to the looped end in the other hand // wrap around the back of neck // Pull end through the loop // Let fall

dress: Leith ruched long sleeve dress // boots: Stuart Weitzman lowland boots // Scarf: Zara, old (almost exact here – sizing is similar as well!)
