TYE DYE FOR

Dress: Tory Burch Hollie Dress // Earring: Misa Tassel Earring // Shoes: Old, similar here // Sunglasses: Spitfire Sharper Edge // Bag: Chelsea28 faux leather chain bag

Y’all. As soon as I saw this tye dye tshirt dress I knew it was coming home to me. It reminded me so much of a tshirt I had seen years ago on the runway from Proenza Schouler – I had fallen in love with it the moment I saw it, and when the young, beautiful & fashionable editors of Vogue and Elle started showing up on street style blogs wearing different versions of it, my envy grew even more. But fast forward almost ten years {ugh, I am old} and enter this gorgeous Tory Burch resort dress – I was finally able to have my own tye dye moment. The length is great, especially since I’m on the taller, side and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the patterened collar. It gives the dress the ‘cool’ factor and makes it stand out from just any ole tye dye dress. I also love how rich and deep the blue is – and the choice of material is perfect for spring. A simple cotton that is warm enough, but won’t make you hott. Wouldn’t this look awesome with black sandals and a military jacket? #yesitwould

I paired it here with a pair of wedges as old as my proenza schouler dreaming days – I bought these Nine West wedges 10 (!!!) years ago {I told you I was old} They are a direct knock off of these much, *much* more expensive Balenciaga gladiator heels, and I kick myself everyday for not buying them in multiples {they also came in a heavenly brown that I *should* have bought as well #yawinsomeyalosesome} Also shown here are these super fun tassel earrings – I had been looking for a good statement black earring for a while and these came in right under $100. I love how light they are {you forget you have anything on!} and they also come in a super bright pink color. Last but not least, the clutch and sunglasses are both under $45 and great staples to having year round. Shop them above or below!

Oh, and one last thing. The Shopbop Tiered sale started today and you can get up to 25% off with the code GOBIG17 at checkout. This dress & earrings are both included in the sale, as well as so many other goodies {like this bathing suit, these sandals, and this dress?} Get all the info here & happy shopping! xx

Pop of Leopard

Top: Pleione off the shoulder top {almost exact here – only $25!} //Jeans: AG raw hem legging jeans // Bag: Clare V leopard clutch // Earrings: Bauble Bar ‘Crispin’ drop earrings  {comes in 8 colors!} // Shoes: Steve Madden ‘Carrson’ Sandal // Necklace: Shashi, sold out {similar}

This outfit is something I could see myself wearing all the time – I would just change up the accessories. Here I’ve kept it really simple, but added a pop of leopard and some fun bauble bar earrings to make it more of a ‘date night’ look. This clutch was something I had wanted for a very long time, & when I finally bit the bullet and haven’t looked back since. I love pairing this bag with neutrals as it tends to give the outfit the punch it needs – making the outfit more fun, but still classy & elegant.

These jeans are a new favorite {you probably remember them from this post last week} but I have been wearing them on repaeat. They color is the quintessential blue jean color and the distressed spots and raw hem make them cool and more modern. This top is great, and such a good price point, but if it sells out, here is a super similar option with an even better price point {only $25!?} Can’t go wrong with a black off the shoulder top.

This past weekend, I celebrated a best friends engagement {she’s kind of the cutest} & a friends birthday. It was so much fun, but needless to say, I feel like I need to stay away from alcohol, cake and carbs for a long, long time!

Happy Monday friends! xx

Drape Jacket

Jacket: BB Dakota Peppin drapey Jacket // Dress: Lush split neck dress // Shoes: Christian Louboutin Pigalle Follies {less expensive version here!} // Clutch: Chelsea 28 // Earrings: Mi Golondrina {these are my favorite earrings that I own!}

Y’all already know I love this dress – it’s price point is insane and it comes in 6 {!!!} colors. I mean, I was already a sucker for hi-lo hem, but then it in black and price is under $50 and I’m a sold woman! I dressed it up here with my favorite drape jacket from BB Dakota and these classic Christian Louboutin heels. This jacket is under $100, and is made of vegan leather. TBH, I have no clue what that means, but it’s an awesome material that looks expensive & I always get so many compliments on it when I wear it. The best part? It is easily paired with black or brown! It’s a great versatile color.

Happy Friday friends! Have some exciting plans this weekend, and I’m just so happy for nice weather. Have an amazing weekend – wherever you are! xx

Lace Up Love

Lace up top 14 Lace up top 11Lace up top 20 Lace up top 19 Lace up top 6Lace up top 18 Lace up top 15 Lace up top 7 Lace up top 8 Lace up top 13

Top: BB Dakota lace up top // Jeans: AG Jeans raw hem legging jeans // Shoes: Schutz ‘enida’ cork sandals {also love these for this look} // Sunglasses: Celine // Earrings: Old, similar look here

I wasn’t quite sure about the lace up trend because it always felt a little too scandalous.  Whether it was a top being laced up, or a dress, skirt or even jeans, I just didn’t know if I could get behind the whole ‘corset play-on.’ That is, until I saw this top. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love a blouse-y white top, and this lace up situation felt understated and cool rather than overtly sexy. I love the two pockets too, it gave the top an almost militant feel, and I loved it paired with these awesome raw hem legging jeans from AG {these are seriously one of the best pairs of jeans ever – so stretchy and comfortable!} I paired it with this shoe that I’ve had for forever, but really wish in retrospect that I had worn these {when I shot this post I didn’t own those yet!} This style of heel is probably my favorite. I have it in several colors because the thicker block heel makes them super comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and also the simplicity of the style is really nice for any occasion or outfit. These earrings were such a great find from H&M two years ago and I always get so many compliments on them when I wear them – but since they’re sold out, I tried to find another fun pair of statement earrings for you guys – and they’re just as pink!

It’s almost Friday guys – stick in there! 🙂 xx
