i shot this outfit ages ago (#hiholidaycup), but the cape almost immediately sold out! So I waited….and waited….and waited….{& hoped and wished} for it to be restocked, but alas. It never was! However, luck is on my side {and yours!}  because a super similar version popped up on another website! And to be honest, I may like that version better {it’s not as long, you know?} Anyway, I’m a sucker for a good poncho//cape//oversized scarf and this is a GOOD one. The plaid//herringbone pattern is super cute and fun — and they’re just so easy to throw on over jeans and instantly feel more put together. I paired it with my favorite chelsea boots from Marc Fisher and my go-to black jeans. Can’t get easier than that, my friends! Happy Friday — hope y’all all have an amazing weekend!

Welp, its Monday. And on Mondays, I just want to wear something super comfortable and easy.To be honest, I’m usually still half asleep, and I just don’t like thinking too hard on Monday mornings. I have the luxury of having a pretty casual office, and  this outfit is the epitome of comfort and ease. I love these jeans – they come pre-worn and perfectly ripped, and are so comfortable. I just threw on an old sweatshirt, wrapped around a cozy scarf and voila — easy breezy Monday comfort. My coworker dubbed this look ‘athleisure,’ which feels pretty spot on!
