sunglasses: ray ban wayfayer // silk blouse: Vince (similar, cheaper option here) // shorts: Loft // wedges: Zara (old, almost exact here) // clear purse: here // in clutch: chanel blush, laura mercier lipgloss

Wanted to dress these shorts up a bit, so I added a silky vince top, and my black go-to wedges. Perfect for a summer night out!

What shoe do i do?

Screen Shot 2015-06-18 at 2.43.33 PM

So I’ve had the same pair of run-around, tennis shoes for over 2 and a half years (!!!!!) So bad, I know. But anyway, I’ve narrowed down my favorites and they are below. What are your thoughts? Part of me wants a fun, more colorful pair — and the other, more practical me, wants the plain black + white Nike Frees. Help! Which should I chose?

silk blouse: joie (also similar here) // culottes: ASOS // necklace: H&M (old, similar here) // sunglasses: dior ‘so real’ // shoes: stuart weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandal // clutch: H&M (old, similar here)

I joke that these are my ‘WTF pants.’ When I ordered these culottes I knew they would be one of two things — either super cute + fun or really, really bad. It took me a second to decide, but as soon as I put them on, I knew I loved them. They are a little out there, but so are culottes in general so I figured I might as well go big, or go home! And the best part is that they weren’t crazy expensive, so I don’t feel bad about buying such a trendy piece.

I ordered a size up from what I normally order because my size was sold out, and I’m so glad I did! The culottes sat lower on my hip, and it ended up working perfectly with a tucked in blouse-y white tank.

Splurge vs. Steal: Charm Necklace

Screen Shot 2015-05-28 at 8.27.01 AM

It’s no secret to my friends that I’ve been lusting after a Jennifer Fisher charm necklace. But the fact that they are dipped in real gold, and covered in real diamonds, there was no way I’d be able to afford the ~5K price tag. That is until Bauble Bar created their ‘Charm Bar.‘ If you aren’t familiar with Bauble Bar, its a jewelry website with well made, trendy and classic jewelry — all for amazing prices. As soon as I saw Bauble Bars charm bar, I immediately knew I would finally be getting the charm necklace I had been dreaming about!

The charms arrived last night and they are even more amazing than I could have imagined! The chain was the exact length that I was looking for, and the charms feel so nice and heavy (especially considering that the whole thing cost less than $60!). I ordered 8 charms and mixed rose gold, and gold together. I love, love how it turned out!

See quick shot of my charms below!
