In honor of National Sibling Day this past weekend, I wanted to introduce to you my older sister Alice. Although 6 years separate us, Alice is by far my best friend in life – we talk every single day and she has been such a great sounding board and support when it comes to creating this blog!
How cute is she!? People say we look alike, and in so many ways we do (she’s uber tall too!), but I love that Alice is also totally and uniquely her own. You guys will love it too. Compared to me, she wears (and therefore will feature) much more things like jewelry, cute flats and fun accessories. She’s also incredibly talented in the kitchen (can we get an amen for some recipe posts?!) and a superwoman mom. Speaking of being a mom…..
Alice is a mom to three little ones – my sweet and uber cute nieces and nephews, James (4), Caroline (2) and little sweet Gracie (almost 1). Oh yeah, and that guy you see there, thats her husband Dave. He’s smart, fun and equally as cool. You may be seeing more of him! I may be a little biased, but her family is literal #lifegoals 🙂 Alice unfortunately lives in California, but I try and get out to see her as much as I can!
Just for fun, I’m throwing in the ultimate #TBT photos of Alice and I as kids. As one of six kids (betcha didn’t know I had 5 siblings!) Alice, my mom and I were the only girls in a house dominated by dirty and smelly boys, so we stuck very close together. I always always wanted to be just like Alice. I was literally obsessed. Remember, that time in your teenage years when your siblings annoyed you and you wanted nothing to do with them? Alice and I never really had that (except for that one time I colored all over her new Lisa Frank stationary….#anotherstoryforanotherday). We have always been so super close and I constantly thank God for putting her into my life! These photos are just too fun….
saying goodbye when alice went to college was so hard! I cried for hours!

There is something so special about choosing your bridal lingerie! And with so many sweet and beautiful options, it isn’t easy. I love the soft and romantic sets the best {#1, #2, #3, & #13} but am also such a sucker for little PJ sets & rompers {#1anddoneamiright?} #14 is so feminine with the little lace edges, and #5, and #7 just look straight up comfy #illtakeit
