Being Bridget

Tis the season of gift-gifting which happens to be one of my favorite parts of the holidays. However, an ever-growing list and the hustle and bustle of the season can make gifting feel like a chore rather than a fun, thoughtful way to show someone how much you appreciate them. The temperatures finally cooled down in Dallas this weekend meaning fall is officially upon us. There are so many things to love about fall dressing but one of mine has to be a good chunky knit sweater and I was so excited to find this one and this one from Varley. I’m obsessed with these neutral tones {they go with everything!} and the quality for the price is unmatched. I paired them with these insanely buttery soft leggings {which come in multiple colorways} for the ideal day-to-day fall mom uniform. For colder weather, I cannot say enough good things about the Payton Puffer Coat. It is incredibly thick and warm without feeling too heavy or bundlesome. So many of my puffer jackets are short, so it’s nice to have a long option in the repertoire. It will certainly be making the trek to Colorado with me this winter!

In honor of Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour making its way to Dallas this month I wanted to put together a round-up of outfit ideas for the show. In honor of her birthday and ‘virgo season’ she asked everyone to wear all things silver and disco-ball-like for the remainder of her shows. I *love* a reason to dress in theme so of course I got straight to work. How fun is silver and sparkles and everything disco?! This chunky sparkle necklace immediately caught my eye {under $15!!} and I’m just loving these silver heels. So chic and again, you won’t believe the price. I just ordered these {not even for the concert!} but think they would be so perfect for the occasion. A good pair of denim has to be one of my top five wardrobe staples. Wearable in any season, there is nothing quite like the versatility of a good pair of jeans. With that said, I think denim is a great place to invest – it often improves with wear and has a longer lifespan than many other clothing items {aka, having a very low cost per wear}. Shopbop is my ultimate denim destination, carrying all of my favorite brands. Mother has been a long-standing favorite brand of mine {they have amazing styles for tall gals} but I also really love my Agolde jeans, especially this style.
