My Fall Bracelet Stack

Cartier Love Bracelet // Hermes Double Tour Wrap Bracelet // Teleties // Giles & Brother Railroad cuff // Michael Kors Tortoise Bangle // T bracelet, Shashi {similar here} // Gold Shell Bracelet {similar here} // Colorful beaded bracelet {similar here}

If you’ve been following me since the start of this summer, you know I’m always got a giant stack of bracelets. They were bright and colorful and ranged in price from a $4 german hair tie to a Cartier Love Bracelet. Nothing made me happier than the little pop of color my wrist added to my otherwise neutral summer wardrobe. With that being said, as soon as I was home from the beach, and back into the real world, my colorful stack felt a little too summer-y and I felt I needed to update it for Fall. I stored away the bright & colorful pieces for next year, and pulled out a few favorites that felt a little more appropriate. While some bracelets from the summer stack stayed {my trusty love bracelet, a teletie I never take off, the T-bar gold cuff and my little conch bracelet} I did add a few old favorites. A navy leather Hermes wrap bracelet with gold hardware, a tortoise Michael Kors bangle I bought years ago, and an industrial railroad cuff from Giles & Brother I bought when working at my first job out of college. What’s great for you, is that even though these pieces aren’t new, they’re classics that you can still easily find on eBay! eBay is such an incredible resource to find pieces you’ve always wanted but night not have had the chance to buy while still in store. I love that I’m able to type in any combination of keywords and find hundreds {if not thousands!} of options to choose from. They even have items from Jennifer Fisher – a jeweler I had admired for years but never been able to afford!

Another amazing thing about eBay is the ability to set up an alert if something you’re on the hunt for isn’t immediately available. eBay can email you when and if that specific item gets listed so you can be the first to know! With hundreds of thousands of registered eBay sellers, selling just as many items, this is an easy way to stay on top of the items you really want.

What are some pieces you’ve always wanted, but never pulled the trigger on? Are there any items that you wanted but then disappeared from stores? Check out eBay’s incredible selection of Jewelry and let me know in the comments!

The Last of Summer Dressing

Dress: Faithful The Brand // Shoes: Loeffler Randall Penny Slides {also here} // Earrings: Here // Bag: Old, similar here // Sunglasses: Quay Its My Way Sunglasses

So much to love about this look. This dress is one of those easy, throw on for anything type dresses. You can dress is up or dress it down and it transitions really easily. I love it paired with my super summer ‘Penny’ slides from Loeffler Randall. These slides are quickly become my #1 must have shoe for summer. I wore them nonstop, and I know it will be a shoe I continue to wear into fall {something about that lamé fabric makes them feel so festive!} If you haven’t bitten the bullet on these, do so now. I guarantee you will still love them by next summer 🙂 PS – this dress comes in 3 different patterns! So if red isn’t your thing – be sure and check out the other coloways!

Summertime Feels

Top: Caslon Striped Tee {similar here & here} // Jeans: Madewell Cali Flare {long/petite/short version here} // Shoes: Leith Pearl Studded Sandals // Sunglasses: Quay Its My Way Sunglasses // Clutch: Old, similar here // Bracelets: Roxanne Assoulin {similar, less expensive here}

Writing this post from the comfort of the VonLane bus on my way to Houston! Have you all ever ridden on the VonLane? It’s my new favorite way to travel. Once you board you are given the choice of beverages and snacks {included} as well as free wifi, tv, and big plsuh comfortable chairs that recline. I was also offered a lap desk so I could easily work on my laptop for the duration of the trip. A bus attendant was super helpful and attentive and there to help/assist with anything I needed. I wish this service existed for more cities! Right now it’s just Houston – Austin – Dallas…but my fingers are crossed for an expansion!

Now, let’s talk about this simple easy look. These jeans are my new favorite – they’re actually ‘tall’ which means they have a longer inseam meant for people 5’9″ and up. You have no idea how hard it is to find jeans that are long enough, so this option is a Godsend! If you aren’t as tall, fret not, these jeans also come in a regular length. This t-shirt is also one of my favorite basics this summer. I bought it in 3 colors and have worn them nonstop.

Can you believe the summer is nearing to an end? I’m not ready and ready for Fall all at the same time. What are your weekend plans? Do you have anything exciting coming up?

Perfect Dress for A Summer Wedding

Dress: Saloni Nikki Mini Dress // Earrings: Panacea Art Deco Earrings // Shoes: Loeffler Randall Penny Sandal // Bag: Old, similar here // Sunglasses: Celine

Well, July is officially over, which can sometimes make me feel like the summer is over. But in Texas, with the temperatures still soaring, I’d say we are, in reality, no where near the end of summer. Which means, luckily for me, this dress will be perfect for a few more months! Although, I love the bright colors, what initially caught my attention was the shape and style of this dress.  I love the length and the relaxed opening at the front. I also love the bluson style of the sleeves. It would be great for a wedding, or a date night and so much in between! I’ve paired it here with my favorite summer sandals and these funky gold earrings.
