MY #1 BEAUTY MUST HAVE

RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner

One of the topics I get asked about most frequently are my eyelashes.  Often times people will ask if they’re fake, wondering where I get my extensions done, or what brand of add ons I like. But time and time again I always tell them the same thing – it is all thanks to a little eyelash serum called RevitaLash.

To back up, a few years ago I was going, every two weeks, to get eyelash extensions. Not only was it expensive, but it was extremely time consuming as well. Each visit took about an hour and cost around $75. My eyelashes would look amazing for the first 5 or so days, and then slowly start to look a little wonky. I sleep on my side, so the lashes would often times get tangled and start going in different directions leaving my once dazzling lashes looking disheveled. Without knowing how to fix the issue {the glue pulls on your real lashes!} I would just suffer until I could go back in for my refill. It was a vicious cycle.  Fast forward 1 year, and I had suddenly developed an allergy to the glue they were using {this had happened to a good friend of mine too so I wasn’t super surprised}. I took this as a sign to rid myself of this bad habit and quit the eyelash extensions all together.

When telling this story to a friend of mine, Louisa, I noticed how incredibly long and beautiful her lashes were. Mine were back to being stumpy and I was jealous of anyone with long beautiful lashes. Louisa told me it wasn’t her mascara or good genetics helping her out – she was using a product called RevitaLash. She said she had been using it for a year and swore by it because it was super easy to use {one swipe per lash line per night before bed} & wasn’t damaging her lashes like extensions were. I asked her multiple questions and there was not one thing she wouldn’t recommend about it. She even has blue eyes & hadn’t had any discoloration in them – one of the main concerns for people who hear about these lash serums!

Anyway, I immediately bought the product and haven’t looked back since. It is incredibly easy to use and makes my lashes crazy, crazy long. The best tip I can give you though, when it comes to buying this product, is to buy the largest size available {the 0.11 oz} it’s more expensive, but it will last you 6+ months, whereas the smaller $50 bottle will only last you ~1 month. I promise, I learned this the hard way & it’s worth the initial upfront investment x 1000. Oh, and last but not least, it’s not too early to put this under the christmas tree! If you order today, Nordstrom will ship this to you before Christmas Eve 🙂

Winter Whites

Top: J.Crew Fringe Knit Sweater {on sale!} // Jeans: Topshop raw hem skinny jeans // Shoes: Hinge Barris Block Bootie {on sale!} // Earrings: Gold Bug Drop Earrings c/o // Sunglasses: Celine // Bag: Celine

I’m not afraid of wearing white in the winter because I don’t believe there should be any rules when it comes to fashion. White is my favorite neutral and I love wearing it with every color in the rainbow year round. As soon as I saw this incredible split hem chunky knit, I knew it would be coming home with me. It’s classic in its overall shape, but the uneven split hem makes it feel cool and slightly different. What I also love about this knit is that it’s hangs past the bottom, so you could easily pair it down with leggings and Uggs for Christmas morning {what, I love my Uggs!} Both the sweater and the boots are on sale, and it’s not too late to order before Christmas! So get to shopping and let me know what you think 🙂

Christmas Day Outfit

Top: Express Funnel Neck Sweater {comes in 5 colors!} // Skirt: Express Faux Leather Wrap Front Skirt // Earrings: Express Fan Earrings // Shoes: Christian Louboutin Pigalle Follies

This year my husband and I are heading to New Orleans to celebrate with my family and I couldn’t be more excited. How is Christmas in 7 days?! Where has this year gone? I can’t wait to be in one of my favorite cities in the world, with my husband, parents, brothers, sister and nieces and nephews during such a fun & festive time. With that being said, I have to sort all of my holiday outfits out in advance, and lucky for me, I already know exactly what I’ll be wearing come Christmas day. After opening presents in our pajamas, and enjoying some breakfast, we will all head to my aunt & uncles house for lunch. Although our Christmas Eve dinner is much more dressed up, our Christmas Day lunch is all about casual comfort. Which makes the outfit above perfect. The oversized sweater will be cozy and warm, and the faux leather knot skirt will add just the right amount of structure. If I’m feeling more casual, I’ll switch out the heels for some simple black booties or flats, add some tights & call it a day!

Express has holiday dressing down pat. They have everything from romantic lace, to velvet, to beautiful faux leather, oversized wool coats & sweaters, festive jewelry, stylish shoes….you name it, they have it. And the most incredible part is that right now, it’s all 50% off. Don’t ask questions – just go, and buy your Christmas outfit – y’all went crazy for this dress when I featured it on my stories, and it’s been haunting me ever since! I think I need to go back and get it for NYE!

Happy Sunday y’all. Writing this as I sit by the fire with my pups snuggled up by my feet, and I’m feeling inspired to share a little with you guys! One of my favorite things is ‘ Vogue’s 73 Questions’ series where they take our favorite celebrities and ask them questions.
