The Best No Show Socks In The World

We’ve all been there – walking around and having to constantly stick your finger into your heel to pull up your no-show sock that’s constantly falling off your heel. Or what about the opposite? Aching feet that have been squished into too small elastic socks that never slip off your heel but also leave you wishing you hadn’t bothered at all.

Velvet & Leather

This may be one of my favorite holiday looks to date. I love the way leather & velvet pairs together, and besides it showing off {my} ghostly pale legs, I love the idea of this look for a holiday party! There is something so elegant about an off the shoulder top, and if you add velvet to that, you are left with a top that can be worn a million different ways throughout the winter-y season. It would look equally as beautiful with high waisted black jeans or a full skirt! Thank goodness for cooler weather, cozy sweaters, velvet, suede, and all things holiday! I’m so ready for this season I can hardly stand it.

Current Favorites // Fall

When I first started my blog years ago, I was just a girl who dreamed about the clothes I wished I could buy. I would put them in my online shopping baskets and just pretend I could afford to buy them all – plus, I always liked to see which items I wanted together in the same place. After talking with my sister who pleaded ‘I want to see what you want! It gives me inspiration too’ I decided to make my wish lists public. Years later, these collages are still some of my most popular posts! I still can’t afford all these items {I wish!} but it’s still fun to dream. A few recent collages are below…. I’m feeling the color burgundy right now and just can’t get enough, making #10 a must buy for me. #16 is a little out of my price range, but a girl can dream! Aren’t they gorgeous? I’ve also got #13, #2, #4 & #11 en route to me {I can’t help myself!} Oversized sweaters + jeans are my everyday winter go-to. Add a super cozy pair of boots {obsessed with #4 in the collage below} and a giant jacket and you’re good to go!

It’s freeeeeezing in Dallas & it’s got me craving coats, faux fur and boots! In love with the oversized sherpa coat {#1} and it’s price. I own #13 and y’all know how much I love it, #8 is en route to me and #4 is an updated version of a classic – love the faux fur topping!

With so many good pieces out there, and the falling temperatures, my online carts are filling up *fast* // Saw #7 in person on Friday and I can’t stop thinking about how cool they would look with a chunky sweater and a great pair of jeans {#13!?} #14 are on my lust list, #11 would be so pretty for a holiday party & last but not least, I would do bad things for #3 – the cut, the leather… so, so beautiful.

Shopping when I should be sleeping ???‍♀️I already own #13 in black but it’s so good in the hot pink too {also comes in a cranberry ??} Obsessed with the faux layer duo of #2, & #6 would be so dreamy for nights out in the winter.

Fall Layers

Dallas weather has been all over the place, so it’s been constant layers for me. I’ve been loving this super lightweight anorak jacket recently. It really adds that extra layer of warmth, but can also be tied around your waist if the temperature rises. I’ve paired it here with my newest bodysuit obsession – a marble grey long sleeve {& crazy cozy} version from Madewell. I can’t get over the price either – at only $39 I’m tempted by the black option as well! My one complaint, however, is that this bodysuit has full back coverage – meaning you have to deal with panty lines when wearing with jeans {I always prefer a thong bodysuit} but c’est la vie. I love this one too much to care 🙂 Last but not least, this giant blanket scarf is nothing new – we’ve all seen it before, but it is so crazy comfortable and I love layering it over any and everything starting Nov 1 {because it just feels so HOLIDAY!} Can you believe the holiday season is almost here? We celebrate Christmas in our house and my husband and I go all out with our decorations. Can’t wait!!
