Cold Weather Picks

It has dropped 30 degrees in Dallas in the last week and it has finally got me thinking about sweaters, coats, and anything else fit for the cold.

• One of my best friends has this sweater in two colors and it always looks good, whether she wears it with leggings and sneakers or dressed up with jeans and booties. I’m buying it in the white & black version in a S
• I need another pair of Golden Goose sneakers like I need a hole in the head, but ever since I saw these navy suede babies last week I can’t get them out of my head. They’re just soooooo beautiful. Maybe I’ll sell a pair I have to make room for these – they’re that good!
• I don’t know what is going on, but ever since about a month ago, I’ve been obsessing over all things leopard. I’ve always appreciated a statement clutch or shoe in leopard, but now I’m all about a leopard blouse, skirt, dress, headband, scarf, jacket……I basically want leopard any which way it comes. This blouse is no different! I’m in love with the big billow-y sleeves, and think it would look so chic paired down with just about anything.
• Speaking of hair accessories,  I am very limited when it comes to styling my hair, so I think this barrette with an already perfected bow would be so fun come the holiday season. With hair in a full or half pony, this would add such a festive touch. I know it’s expensive, but I’ve looked and looked for a cheaper alternative and haven’t found any that look this good for less.
• I have wanted a pair of creeper style flatforms for years now – every since my sister bought the no-longer-sold Loeffler Randalls – but haven’t found any that are right. Until today. These gorgeous velvet flatforms are currently en route to me and I couldn’t be more excited. They’re funky & fun and most importantly – comfortable! With the jet black velvet, I know I’ll be able to wear these all fall & winter long.
• I think everyone needs a camel coat in their wardrobe, and this one is a classic and a steal on sale for $37. Love the shape and that it comes in 3 other colors – black, grey and light pink. For $37, I couldn’t pass this deal up. I have it in a small en route to me now!
• Also totally in love with the color of this gorgeous wine colored coat. I think this shape and color is a classic that you could wear year after year but if the price tag is too steep, I also found this look for less!

I could go on and on about why I love each of these pieces so much, but I think you can also just look at them and tell! They’re all perfect for fall and gorgeous. Let me know in the comments if you snatch anything up 🙂
