Colleen Rothschild | 4 Products to Try

If you’ve been following for a while you probably remember me mentioning Colleen Rothschild on my stories a few months back when I was first introduced to her product at the rewardStyle conference here in Dallas. She is a local Dallas woman who, after working 30 years ‘behind the scenes’ in the beauty industry, decided to step out and create her own incredible line of products. I love supporting a local business, but more than that, I just love Colleen Rothschild products.

Today I’m going to share my top 4 favorite CR products, but before I do, I want to share that they’re all currently 25% off in the Friends & Family Sale which started Monday! This sale goes until 10/21 with code: FAMILY25, so stock up while you can! Also, let me just say, it’s never too early to start your holiday shopping, and at 25% off, buying presents never felt so good!

Shown above, from L to R, is the Cleansing Balm, the Extreme Recovery Cream, the Face Oil No. 9, the Age Renewal Super Serum, and the Balancing Gel Cleanser

The Cleansing Balm was my ‘gateway drug, so to speak. It’s where my love affair with Colleen Rothschild products started. As I previously mentioned, I started using this product back in April after I was gifted a sample at the rewardStyle conference. Of all the products they were showcasing, I remember being particularly intrigued by the cleansing balm because it was a paste that was supposed to turn into an oil cleanser. I hadn’t heard of another product on the market like this, so I knew I needed to see this magic first hand. Once I tried it, I knew I loved it right away. You scoop a dime sized amount of the hard product into the palm of  your hand, and it starts to ‘melt’ and warm up to create a slick, oil-like consistency almost immediately. Make sure you apply to a dry face {this is key!}, and gently massage into your skin. With water, you can then rinse, and your face will be left feeling so incredibly soft & moisturized. I am on my second container and officially hooked.

If I’m wanting something a little lighter than the balm {which I like to use at night} I go for the Balancing Gel Cleanser. This ultra gentle formula has a pH balancing component which helps with skin radiance. Call me crazy, but if a cleanser can help with revitalizing dull skin, you bet I am going to use it in the morning before heading out for the day. I also love the consistency and that this cleanser is super lightweight – it leaves my skin feeling light and dry {without any sticky residue behind} and easily removes any nighttime products from the night before. I use one pump with cold water and always feel like I’m giving myself the best base for the rest of my day time products.

If you travel a lot, are prone to super dry skin, or just need a heavy duty serum for the winter months, this Face Oil No. 9 is your guy. Although I normally have ‘normal’ skin, my face has been reeling from months of summer travel and has been dull and dry for what feels like months now. My skin seriously just drinks this oil right up, helping my dull, sad, and dry skin feel much more hydrated. I apply after my night cream {which I’ll get to next!}

The Extreme Recovery Cream has been a lifesaver on my super dry skin recently. And y’all. It’s consistency is buttery, creamy, and so smooth. It’s also lightweight enough to wear under your make up during the day, yet moisturizing enough to wear to bed at night making it a really great 2-n-1 option. I have been putting extra ‘coats’ on certain super dry patches on my skin at night and really letting the product sink in. Also, if you have sensitive skin, or just don’t like the weight of an ultra heavy product, this cream is for you. It moisturizes without clogging pores or causing irritation all while packing a major punch on the hydration scale.

Other products I can’t wait to try include the Age Renewal Super Serum {recently the winner of the beauty shortlist award!} and the Intense Hydrating Mask {currently sold out, but stalking the website everyday to hopefully soon get my hands on a tube!} I think the mask especially would be great for traveling, and life on the go. Lastly, this discovery kit is a great way to try a bunch of the products in sample sizes for a fraction of the cost. With the sale price, you can try 6 {!!!} of the Colleen Rothschild products for under $75. This would also make an incredible gift!

Anyways, if you can’t tell, I’m pretty jazzed about these Colleen Rothschild products, and I’m even more excited that you can grab them on sale until 10/21! Let me know in the comments which items you’re going to try out or if you already have any favorites! Can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
