What To Wear To a Wedding

Dress: Saloni c/o Tuckernuck // Shoes: Schutz Enida Sandals // Sunglasses: Celine // Bag: Lucy Folk Clutch // Earrings: Mi Golondrina

It’s wedding season y’all, and if you’re like me, then you’re probably wondering what to wear to all these celebrations filling your calendar. Whether the nuptials are at the beach, or in the mountains, or somewhere in between, choosing the right outfit to wear can be tough! Other than the rule of no white {obviously} you have relative freedom when it comes to putting together your look. Big vibrant patterns? A clean classic staple? Above the knee? Below the knee? A long, blouse-y maxi dress? The options are endless, and I recommend having as much fun with your look as you dare. Why not? It’s almost summer after all, and what better way to celebrate than with a bright, paunchy dress and accessories?

When Tuckernuck reached out to see if I wanted to pick a dress from their site for an upcoming wedding I’m attending, I jumped at the opportunity. Not only is Tuckernuck one of my favorite online retailers, but they have an incredible selection of wedding guest worthy dresses and accessories to choose from. I was immediately drawn to this Saloni number and fell.in.love. Have you ever seen anything more perfect?! The design of the dress ooozes luxury while the print and slight leg opening gives it that hint of playfulness that is so fun for any wedding. I know I’ll wear this dress time and time again.

I’ve rounded up my picks from Tuckernuck’s amazing selection and have listed them below!

And my exact look is below!

My Favorite No Bake Energy Balls

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know I make an adapted version of Deliciously Ella’s energy bites every couple of weeks to keep me full if I’m ever hungry and need a quick little snack on the go. I discovered my love for healthy cooking last year while living in Geneva and haven’t looked back since. These energy balls are great because they’re so easy to make, only require a few simple & clean ingredients and only involve one kitchen tool – a food processor!

If you aren’t familiar with what a food processor is, it’s an electric kitchen appliance used for chopping, mixing, or pureeing foods. You can make homemade sauces, dressings, and even hummus! You can also grind your own meat, blend your own nut butters, and finely chop veggies. It’s so incredibly useful and one of the top 3 items I use in my kitchen on a weekly basis. seriously.  If you don’t already own a food processor, you are missing out! But do not fret. Lucky for you, eBay has the processor on sale for over 50% off {54% to be exact!} along with hundreds of other items as part of their Kitchen Update Event. Pretty incredible right?

And that’s not the only incredible deal – this *brand new* Vitamix is 47% off, this KitchenAid stand mixer is a kitchen must-have and 51% off and last but not least {per my Swiss husband’s request} this Oster fondue pot is 34% off making it just $32.99!!! The best part about all of these items is the ‘buy it now‘ option. No bidding wars necessary – you can simply click the buy it now button and have that beautiful kitchen item on it’s way to you in no time {free shipping included!}

See below for the recipe for these super easy & yummy bites!

ENERGY NO BAKE BITES
2/3 cup any nuts* {I used almonds}
2/3 cup of any nuts* {I used cashews}
1 cup of pitted dates
2 tblspoons of chia seeds
1 tblspoon of cacao powder
1 tablspoon of coconut oil
*Coconut flakes for rolling!

*you can use almonds, walnuts, cashews, pecans, brazil nuts, peanuts or any other nut your heart desires!

  1. Combine all of the ingredients above into a food processor & pulse for 1 minute!

2. Place a small amount into the palm of your hand and roll into a ball.

3. Coat ball in coconut shavings

4. Place in refrigerator in a sealed container to set. Good for up to 1 week! Makes 10-12 balls

So, with all that being said, what are your favorite, healthy go-to meals in the kitchen? And what are your favorite kitchen gadgets? Can’t wait to see what you score from the eBay Kitchen Update Event {ends tonight!} Let me know in the comments! xx

Thank you to eBay for sponsoring this post!

WHAT I WORE FOR DAY 2 AT #RSTHECON

Dress: ASOS Tux Mini Dress // Bag: Lucy Folk Cocoloko Clutch // Shoes: Manolo Blahnik BB Pump {less expensive version here!} // Sunglasses: Illesteva Leonard Mirrored Sunglasses

I had so much fun with my day 2 look for the rewardStyle conference. I was channeling Bella Hadid but wanted an edgier hairstyle so Michael Thomas gave me a super cool french braid and at the base incorporated a silver mesh ribbon that added some cool texture {so mad I didn’t snap a better picture of it!} As for this dress, I can’t believe what a steal it was for under $55! It was so fun to wear, and definetly a conversation piece. I thought my super cool Lucy Folk clutch and Manolo white pumps were the perfect additions to making this edgy look a little more modern and cool. Even though I don’t dress like this regularly, it was so much fun to do for a special event! What are y’alls thoughts? Have you ever stepped totally out of your norm to play into a theme or dress up for a party? Let me know in the comments!

How To Get Your Own Personal Stylist

Mother Looker Ankle Jeans // Bardot Kira Crochet Dress // Pleione Side Tie Top // Sam Edelman Karlie Denim Jacket // Caslon Darcie Sandal // Rebecca Minkoff Je’Taime Leather Crossbody // Madewell Apron Ruffle Jumpsuit // Vince Short Sleeve Shirt // Veronica Beard Ginesa Lace Blouse // Vince Blair Sneaker

 Have y’all ever heard of Trunk Club? It is such a cool, new-age way to shop that gives you the customized personal stylist experience without ever having to step foot into a store! Once signed up, you are connected with a stylist chosen specifically for you. A quick survey gives your stylist an idea of your wants & needs, but a super easy chat system also allows you to chat with him/her in real time about specifics – sizing, color preferences, budget or just anything else on your mind! If chatting online isn’t your thing, your stylist can also set up a consultation over the phone, or even in person if you live in Dallas, or one of five other cities around the country with a Trunk Club Clubhouse! I was paired with Lucy, who was attentive and sweet and who immediately understood my aesthetic. I loved that we were able to have an open conversation about what I was looking for. Lucy didn’t make me feel bad for nixing a few of her recommendations, but she was also great about pushing me out of my comfort zone. How cool is the raw-edge denim jacket? I would have gone for a more classic style, but Lucy insisted I would love the more modern style and she was right. Being such a classic, I knew I would layer this jacket over everything for years to come.
b
Once I tried everything on that Lucy sent in my trunk {how cute is the box btw – it actually looks like a little trunk, handle and all!} I decided what I wanted to keep and sent back the rest with a prepaid label. It couldn’t have been an easier process and I absolutely love what I walked away with. As a Nordstrom company, Trunk Club has the best customer service, and the most incredible selection of goods across all price points. Overall, this process was almost too easy – Sign up here if you know what’s good for you 😉
